Kim Diaz

I was born in Segundo barrio, here in El Paso and I grew up in Ciudad Juárez. I graduated from Mountain View High School and earned a B.A. in Philosophy and English Literature from UTEP, an M.A. in Philosophy from the University of New Mexico, an M.A. in Chicano, Latino, and Hispanic Studies from Texas A&M University as well as a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Texas A&M University. I returned to El Paso with the desire to serve my community. My research is focused on Latin American Philosophy and Classical American Pragmatism. Besides my academic work, I also like to stand on my head, kick like Bruce Lee, and share the practice of mindfulness with people :)
