The Love of Wisdom project is morphing into the umbrella project for all curricula for the institute and developing the curriculum as a symbiotic triad of: curriculum development through our virtual portal, training and coaching of teachers, and consulting with educational partnering agencies. The goal is to create an effective system that aids and amplifies current systems of education in positive and enriching ways

I can't find pictures of either the Mineral collection at Carnagie Mellon or the tables from the exhibits at Papalote Museo del Niño. However, below is a picture of the minerals and a link to the museums.

Sorry for the delay, here are the notes from the "design" meeting:
Logic in reference to the sequoia: -Recognition of patterns -Natural information present in the tree -History: *going back and forth between Kronos and Earth (quantum jump)-History of Texas in reference to the rings, history of the planet, geological history, history of the universe.
Fossil: -connection to history -time: carbon dating

Thanks for the photos Joe. Starting next Tuesday we will relocate our curriculum meetings and work sessions at Insights to implement our Love of Wisdom program for the Insights Center at Alamo. At a town hall meeting at the Segundo Barrio last night (October9), we got a standing ovation once we announced our plans for Alamo!
